Find the right piece for your space.
Begin with the feeling you want to create. Soft neutrals can bring a sense of calm; expressive colour can become the focal point. Choose a piece you enjoy looking at, then check how it fits your room.
1. Measure your wall.
Measure the usable wall area and the furniture beneath it. Mark the proposed artwork outline with removable painter’s tape, then step back and view it from your usual seating position. Leave breathing room around the artwork and nearby fittings.
2. Check the listed dimensions.
Select from the sizes available on the product page. Check both the units and the orientation. For multi-panel works, read the size of each panel and allow additional space for the gaps between panels.
Do not assume the listed dimensions include the frame. If the product page does not specify the finished outer dimensions, confirm them before ordering.
3. Choose an orientation.
Horizontal works can complement wider furniture. Vertical works can suit narrower walls. Square compositions offer a balanced focal point. Changing orientation is not simply a matter of rotating the image: the composition must remain suitable for the artwork.
4. Understand the presentation options.
- Rolled Canvas: supplied without a stretched support or frame; local stretching or framing is needed before hanging.
- Gallery Wrap: canvas stretched over a support, with the artwork continuing or finishing around the edges. Check the product’s exact finish.
- Framed options: choose from the frame finishes listed for that artwork. Confirm outer dimensions and mounting requirements where needed.
5. Look beyond the room image.
Room scenes help you imagine a style. Use the written dimensions and close-up images to evaluate the artwork itself. Colours may appear different across screens and lighting conditions, and hand-painted brushwork and texture can vary between pieces.
